About the Event
City Club of Boise is launching on-line programming to enable us to continue to provide interesting and informative conversations during this time of Social Distancing. Our first conversation will be the Post Legislative Session Pundits Conversation. Betsy Russell, from the Idaho Press, James Dawson from Boise State Public Radio, Jaclyn Kettler, Political Science Professor at Boise State, and Scott McIntosh from the Idaho Statesman will join us on-line to discuss the 2020 Idaho Legislative Session. We hope that you will join us for what should be a lively conversation, moderated by City Club Board member Greg Hahn.
Panelists:
Betsy Russell is the Boise bureau chief and state government and politics reporter for the Idaho Press, and also writes the “Eye on Boise” blog (and has since 2004). She is the current president of the Idaho Press Club, and is also president and a founding board member of Idahoans for Openness in Government (IDOG).
Professor Jaclyn Kettler’s research focuses on American politics with an emphasis on state politics, political parties & interest groups, campaign finance, and women in politics. Kettler earned her Ph.D. at Rice University and her BA at Baker University.
