After Hours Event: Post-Legislative Salon

City Club of Boise is pleased to bring back our popular Post Legislative Session Pundit's Evening on April 12, 2022, after missing out on this annual favorite for the last two years.  We have invited three pundits who have followed the legislature over this last session to share their observations of the legislation and conversation that has taken place at the Capitol this winter.

This year we hold the event at Beside Bardenay.  Rather than a sit down dinner we will provide generous hors d'oeuvres.  A no host bar will be available.   Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. with presentations beginning at 6:30 p.m.  We expect a lot of time for questions and conversation with the attendees, and will conclude by 8:00 p.m.

The Pundits:

Betsy Russell from the Idaho Press and Eye On Boise blog will join us.  Betsy has been a constant at these evenings for a number of years and always has insightful thoughts.  Dr. Charles (Charlie) Hunt from the Political Science Department at Boise State will share his thoughts from an academic perspective, and Idaho Statesman opinion writer Bryan Clark will join us, bringing an eastern Idaho perspective.

We hope that you will be able to join us for what is always a lively discussion and an entertaining evening.

This year’s Salon will be held at Beside Bardenay on Tuesday, April 12th, starting at 6:00 p.m., and will cost $45 per person. Register right away to ensure a seat for this evening filled with humor and commentary on Idaho politics and the elections ahead!
