About the Event

The Idaho Center for Fiscal Policy will discuss the 2024 Idaho Legislative Session and present their analysis of the fiscal impacts of the session. ICFP is a non-profit, non-partisan organization committed to offering Idahoans high quality research and analysis to help the state make informed policy decisions and contribute to a prosperous Idaho.

Speakers:

May Roberts is a policy analyst focusing on revenue and budget policy at the Idaho Center for Fiscal Policy. She previously served as the Assistant to the City Manager at the City of Ontario and as the Editor in Chief at the Hatfield Graduate Journal of Public Affairs. May earned a Master of Public Policy, with a specialization in local government, from Portland State University. She holds a B.A. in International Political Economy from the College of Idaho.

Kendra Knighten specializes in housing and criminal justice policy in Idaho. She conducts in-depth research and creates detailed reports on state policy and its effect on all Idahoans. Kendra previously served as the Criminal Justice Policy Advisor to former Idaho Gov. C.L. “Butch” Otter, and also served a two-year appointment to the Idaho Criminal Justice Commission. Kendra also worked with a non-profit in rural Bangladesh committed to assisting impoverished Bangladeshi women attain economic independence and security. She earned her B.A. in International Political Economy from the College of Idaho.
